His family owned a large commercial bakery in South America that he worked in and managed for several years. The family relocated to Connecticut in the early 1970’s and have been residents in the area since then.

He has earned a degree in engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. For 30 years Peter worked with United Technologies and other major aerospace companies in business development and management roles. This career provided a broad experience with jet engines, propeller systems, environmental control systems, metallic and composite aircraft structures, avionics and integrated health management systems.

Because he grew up in a multilingual family and lived in Venezuela and Europe for many years, Peter is fluent in Spanish, Italian and German. Peter has been married to his wife Casey for over 25 years. They have two boys.

John Graduated from Princeton University and holds an MBA in marketing from Columbia Business School. His marketing and sales experience includes brand management with General Foods, Dixie Consumer Products, Riegel Products and Compass Foods (Eight O’Clock Coffee). Over ten years with an international marketing driven advertising agency in New York City together with senior level responsibilities at the Nielsen Division of Dun & Bradstreet and international marketing consulting provide John with a diversity of marketing, sales and promotion experience.

John recently was the President and Owner of Val-Pak of Greater Hartford, the major direct mail (Blue Envelope) advertising company with offices in Wethersfield an in all areas of the USA.

Growing up, Peter spent many summers working on his uncle’s tobacco farm in the North Central Connecticut. Here Peter learned the importance of hard work involved in running a business, the vision needed to grow the business, and the sacrifices endured to make it a success. Peter started his career after college working in commercial real estate as a property manager for Sam’s Food Stores corporate office. Faced with daily operational challenges involving various tenants, landlords, contractors, government officials, and other parties, Peter quickly learned the intricacies of a dynamic business environment. He gained valuable experience working alongside the accounting and legal departments as well.
Peter graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in Economics. A lifelong resident of the state, he currently resides in East Windsor where he is learning horseback riding and will help out at Belvedere Polish Delicatessen, his family’s business.
